Our gala will celebrate our new collaboration with the Historic New Orleans Collection, as we open our new cultural space at 602 Toulouse St in the heart of the French Quarter.

For its first activation, this space will be entirely dedicated to music and we cannot wait to present our original and interactive exhibition Musique(s)!  celebrating Louisiana’s musical heritage in French and Creole. This exhibition, to be presented from May 7 to June 30, 2025, will be complemented by the release of our original book and vinyl — all made possible through the support of the Library of Congress. 

As you purchase a ticket to our gala, your support will help us (Nous!) move towards a complete remodeling of the space over the summer to create a gallery space with pop-up exhibitions, a concept store with a curated selection of books and magazines in French, and an information center with free brochures on Louisiana’s French and Creole cultures. All in one space.

On May 5, 2025, we will invite our patrons ($1,000 +) to come to our new space at 602 Toulouse St. to preview our exhibition, Musique(s)! and our new space. Our patrons will also receive a copy of our original vinyl and book before their official release on May 7 (in a tote bag specifically created for the occasion!).

On May 7, 2025, we will hold our gala at 520 Royal St (5:30 pm to 8:00 pm) to mark our new collaboration with the Historic New Orleans Collection — and the full release of our Musique(s)! project. Our new space at 602 Toulouse St (400 ft away) will also be open throughout the evening.

With French fare, Belgian waffles (made to order), a selection of desserts offered by Brennan’s, champagne, and exclusive performances by Grammy-winner Louis Michot, Sam Craft & Alexis Marceaux (Sweet Crude), and Les Cenelles, this promises to be an unforgettable evening.

All proceeds will go towards our capital campaign to renovate this space and turn it into a new cultural hub for both locals and visitors (with over 20 million people visiting the French Quarter each year). You may see photos of this new space (pre-renovation) on this page.
